#6 - Gifts For Her - Unique Flowers
A fantastic way to surprise your girlfriend for her Birthday or Valentines Day is to send her some nice flowers. Try to make it as surprising and as unique as possible.
Always remember to order your girlfriends flowers in advance as there is nothing more stressful than rushing around at the last minute trying to make arrangements and finding that most websites are sold out!!! At least if you do it a couple of weeks in advance it gives you the chance to explore other avenues.

#5 - Gifts For Her - Photo Collage
Sometimes the cheapest gift to your girlfriend can be the most thoughtful! It doesn't cost a great deal to make a photo collage. All you really need to do is buy a semi decent photo frame or even a notice board, print off lots of pictures of you and your girlfriend then arrange them in the frame or on the notice board!
Wilkinsons is a pretty good place to get a photo frame at a good price. You can also pick them up in various bargain shops. If you want to spend a bit more you can get a funkier frame that has multiple photo slots in it.
As for printing out photos, I normally get mine done on the machines at Boots or Asda. The machines accept a variety of different media cards such as USB sticks, flash drives & SD cards. You just slot your card in the machine and it loads up all your pictures then you have to spend ages browsing through them choosing the ones you want of you and your girlfriend! The other option is to print them out using a home printer but I dont have one of them :(.
You can also throw in a few pictures of people or things your girlfriend cares about like family members and pets... just to make it a bit more touching!
If you want to be more adventurous for your girlfriend, you can try making more of a 3d collage on a notice board and stick various bits n pieces on there. A few things I put on my one for my girlfriend were train tickers to places we went, concert tickets and a meal receipt from our first ever meal together :). You can also whack a few silly things on there like wrappers of her favourite snacks or a cigerrette packet of the cigs she smokes ect.
While this idea can be a bit time consuming as well as taking a bit of effort your girlfriend will love it and will no doubt have the collage on her bedside cabinet in no time!

There are loads of UK holiday destinations which are ideal for a short weekend break away and what better way to treat your girlfriend on Valentines Day than to whisk her away to a nice location!
You can probably expect to pay anywhere between £50 - £250 to gift your girlfriend with a short break, it all depends on where you want to go and what offers are available at the time!
Before you book a short break away its always a good idea to check out what activities are available in the area. You might decide to take your girlfriend to a nice restaurant in the area or a nice romantic stroll along a beach somewhere,

Women love to be treated well and what better way to treat them than to take them out for a nice meal to celebrate her Birthday, Anniversary or Valentines Day together!
Choose a place that you both love or a place thats significant to your relationship, it could be the place you went for a first date or the place you dined at during your first year together!
If you can't think of anywhere then narrow it down by what take-aways you like, do you both like Chinese or Indian? Then book a table at the place you normally order from assuming its not to shabby!
As its a special occasion fast food places should be a definite no no (McDonalds, KFC & Burger King)! Also if your girl friend works in a food related environment such as a chef at a pub then make sure its somewhere far away from there!
Its nice to take your girlfriend somewhere different and non local so your not always bumping into people you know. That way you can both focus your attention on each other :).
